This training is designed for the mechanic / technician that’s new to either the mechanical repair trade in general or the airport equipment industry. This course must be successfully completed* to advance to the Advanced Training level.

The class is limited to 35 attendees.

 This course encompasses:

Basic Electrical components, symbols, circuitry, diagnosis & troubleshooting

Practical Connector building / construction, Weather pack, Deutsch DTM

Basic Hydraulics, safety, components & symbols, troubleshooting

Diesel exhaust systems and fluids

Basic controlled area network- J1939

Root cause analysis, brake systems, fluids

Snow Blowers, Brooms, and Plows maintenance, service, and set up.

* Please note - there is general test at the end of the session, and the participants are expected to achieve at least 80% to pass this course
